An excellent CRM system which goes to show you don't have to spend thousands with the big boys. When I first downloaded and started using it I was a bit sceptical that it could be any good if it was free and over the next few days and weeks got to know it better.

It is very good indeed, and the possiblities to make it your own are far ranging. For example we are using the calendar for meeting room bookings for our clients on the CRM; and of course you can add your logo and customise the colours etc. Support has been first class too, even though we don't have a hosted version. Upgrading is problematic when upgrade has new columns for existing tables, software looks for the new columns in existing version and stops with error when not found instead of creating them.

Finding paid support for this is difficult. Trying to import a large data set back into espocrm creates problems with phpmyadmin, and mysql workbench does not play nice with this database throwing all kinds of errors and warnings.

Can't do a simple export import with workbench without having to solve incompatibility errors. Bottom line, probably best to stick to Linux on an implementation with this one, and skip it if you plan to use Windows. Simon Pearce. What's great about it, apart from it being very fast to load, is that it is not weighed down with lots of unnecessary bits and pieces that you get on other systems, bit they are there to purchase as add-ons if you want.

However, as comparing to other CRMS available on the market, this seems still needs more work and maturity when it comes to in-built modules and integrations. I hope the dashboards, dashlets and report would be more intuitive and pleasantly appealing. Bulk Email should be open to more integration aside from mailchimp such as sendgrid, elasticemail with the ability to monitor and track bounce and read emails. Overall, this has a lot of potential but for it succeed in the CRM space, it has to catch up with common and above basic functionalities.
